Hackathons for Women’s Safety
Introduction
Safe Circles is a platform to run Hackathons designed over two weeks to enable real tangible solutions to come to life.
Solutions could include software, hardware or service based.
Hackathons are held virtually with physical milestone events.
Our Hackathons foster idea creation, innovation, prototyping, feasibility, accelerated product development and future road mapping for sustained success.
Our Hackathons nurture collaboration, knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
Rules
Candidates must commit to attend all expert led panel sessions; team mentoring twice a week; and pitch events (presenting and supporting other pitches). Time commitment is minimum 3 hours per day but can be full time for those willing and able.
Candidates must be passionate about finding a solution to women’s safety risks and be open to following through on ideas.
Candidates must be committed to a collaborative and learning environment.

We offer Hackathons to the public for individuals or already formed teams to sign up. Wematch individuals with like minded profiles, to bring together well balanced teams.
We also offer Hackathons for businesses that want to run their own corporate innovation programmes in house but do not want to spend the time or do not have the resources to manage the organisation and implementation of such programmes.
